CITIES INTRODUCTION - HUIZHOU

If you want to enjoy the beautiful Guangdong, you must not miss visiting Huizhou. Named 'Famous County in Lingnan,' Huizhou is well-known for its bountiful tourism resources – mountains, rivers, lakes, seas, springs, waterfalls, forests, creeks, and islands. The city's rich blending of the natural environment and human culture is honoured by the Government as one of the first demonstration cities for National Ecological Civilization Construction. 

Apart from its long history and picturesque environment, Huizhou has very outstanding characteristics in industrial sector. The scale of petrochemical refining integration at the Daya Bay Petrochemical Zone ranks first in the country. Zhongkai High-Tech Zone is the nation's most crucial electronic industry information base. Other development platforms, including the China-Korea (Huizhou) Industrial Park, Tonghu Ecological Smart Zone, Minping Penisula, are under planning and construction. The Hong Kong and Macao Youth Entrepreneurship Base in Zhongkai High-tech Zone launched in 2016 and the Huizhou Youth Innovation and Entrepreneurship (Daya Bay) Demonstration Base started in 2017 render innovation and entrepreneurship support to the youth from Guangdong, Hong Kong, and Macao. 

Huizhou serves a vital role as the eastern-coast hub of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. A mega airport network with over ten million passenger throughput is under construction. Its cargo port's throughput exceeds 100 million tons. The city also offers a convenient transportation network that allows easy access by Xiamen–Shenzhen high-speed rail, Guangshan high-speed rail, and Ganshen high-speed rail.
