Programme Introduction

Young entrepreneurs bring fresh energy to the community with their innovative ideas, offering unique products and services that help drive sustainable local economic growth. To support these local shops, boost their brand recognition, and increase their sales, YO PLACE is excited to launch the “Empower to Thrive” Small Shops Support Programme. We invite all creative small businesses with standout concepts or a positive social impact to join us!

• YO PLACE will promote and introduce small businesses’ products and services through various channels, including:
  • Website
  • Social media platforms (Facebook and Instagram)
  • YO PLACE App
  • Member SMS

  • Foundation’s newsletter
  • Search engine marketing

Eligibility and Requirements

1. Shop owners must be Hong Kong residents aged 18 to 35.
2. Applicants must have a valid local business registration certificate and a clear business model. The shop can operate either online or offline but must have been operating in Hong Kong for no more than 5 years.

Products/Services with Priority Consideration

• Innovative products or services with special features
• Offerings that create social impact or promote sustainability, such as use of renewable materials, eco-friendly products, social enterprise services, or support for community development.

Application Procedure

1. Shop owners fill out an online application form.
2. The YO PLACE team reviews the application.
3. If the application is tentatively approved, shop will receive a response within a week.
4. YO PLACE will invite shop owners for an interview within two weeks.
5. If the application is approved, the shop will receive another response within a week.
6. Shop owners must submit the following information within one week for promotional purposes:
   -A brief description of the business concept and products/services
   -Relevant images

Application Period: Applications are accepted year-round.
