The "Bay Area Youth Apartment" project in Guangzhou is a collaboration between the Guangzhou Municipal Committee of the Communist Youth League, the Guangzhou Youth Employment and Entrepreneurship Service Centre, and the Yuexiu Group. This initiative offers free or discounted long-term and short-term accommodation, as well as employment information services to youth from mainland China, Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan. Located in various districts like Liwan, Tianhe, Haizhu, and Baiyun, the project currently includes over 10 youth hostels.
Eligibility
To apply for accommodation, applicants must meet one of the criteria outlined on the website of the Guangzhou Youth Employment and Entrepreneurship Comprehensive Service Platform:
- University graduates in Guangzhou within the past two years, as evidenced by graduation certificate or student ID.
- Youth from Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan with proof of residency, aged 16-45 seeking career opportunities in Guangzhou, and with relevant identification documents.
- University graduates within the past two years from other parts of mainland China with proof of graduation certificate or student ID, who are in Guangzhou for job-seeking or employment purposes.
Note: Priority is given to applicants with job interview notices or employment agreements.

If you meet one of the above criteria, you can directly contact the Apartment you are interested in to inquire and provide relevant documents for application. Specific accommodation discounts are subject to the information of each Apartment.

Applicants can find detailed information about the three youth hostels through the "Greater Bay Area Youth Innovation Hub" WeChat mini-programme, the Yuexiu Xingyu WeChat public account, or by contacting the Guangzhou Port and Macao Youth Innovation and Entrepreneurship Service Centre. Applications should be submitted via email to sgaqczx@163.com.
In-Person
Alternatively, application documents can be submitted in person at the Guangzhou Port and Macao Youth Innovation and Entrepreneurship Service Centre, located at 541-543 Guangyuan Middle Road, Baiyun District, Guangzhou.
Check-In Procedure
After receiving the application, the Guangzhou and Macao Youth Innovation and Entrepreneurship Service Centre will review the applicant's identity and supporting documents within three business days. They will coordinate with the apartment staff to confirm the applicant's eligibility and forward the list of eligible applicants to the Yuexiu Property rental company at xingyu@yuexiuproperty.com. Upon approval, applicants must complete the check-in process at the hostel within three business days. Failure to do so will result in the cancellation of the reservation.
